Different agencies in Calderdale provide a range of support for children, young people and adults to improve and maintain their emotional health and well-being.

In addition to support services, The Calderdale Mental Health Crisis Card has been produced in response to the death of a very young child by suicide and as part of our work in Calderdale to reduce suicides.

The contact sheet folds up into a handy pocket-sized card with information about key services in Calderdale that can help someone in a mental health emergency. A mental health emergency often leaves people feeling unable to cope with day-to-day life. Experiencing emotional distress such as anxiety, low mood or thinking about suicide or self-harm can occur at any time and for many reasons. 

The card covers a broad range of key services and support for adults, children and young people.
